Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #6 Writers: Kevin Eastman and Tom Waltz Artist: Dan Duncan So within this whole DC 52 reboot, there’s been another reboot over at IDW. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot has been nothing short of fantastic. … Continue reading

So… funny story. I got a real job. (What are we….chopped liver? Editor Alan!) But I don’t have the actual guts to just up and quit this job, so you won’t be seeing any less of me here on this blog. Let’s do this! TMNT Micro-Series #2 Michelangelo Writer: Brian Lynch Artist: Andy Kuhn: All right you guys, I don’t’ know why I feel like some kind of huge sell-out, but I am absolutely Loving this new TMNT series. Fantastic Four #600 — Writer: Jonathan Hickman; Art: Steve Epting/Rick Magyar; Carmine di Giandomenico; Ming Doyle; Leinil … Continue reading

Justice League #1 Writer: Geoff Johns Artist: Jim Lee C’mon folks, did you really think I’d start my reviews and NOT talk about this? Really? Well guess what, this is the flagship title of the entire DCnU, it’s pretty much the only comic that really matters this week, and how do you think it all went down? It’s a great big “meh” ladies and gentlemen. I had my dad read it … Continue reading

And just like that we’re back folks. I survived San Diego, and only lost a finger! (joke). Let’s do this. (head’s up, I didn’t review League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. That pretentious mess is not for me. ((cue internet explosion))) Secret Wariors 28 Writer: Jonathan Hickman Artist: Alessandro Vitti So Secret Warriors comes to its logical conclusion with more of a whimper than you might expect. However, when you think about it in the long run, it’s not that unexpected. This title has been running along with its usual flair for the dramatic, so a subdued final issue is to be … Continue reading
