Where does it all come from?

Hello everyone! Alan the salesman here. I really dislike the “pitchman” approach sometimes, but when some very cool items filter into the store, I just gotta pitch ’em to ya’! Yet again, we just acquired a nice collection of some very nice runs of late Silver and Bronze age comics. This recent batch includes: IRON MAN #1-150, CAPTAIN AMERICA #100-200, and X-MEN #94-150, including GIANT-SIZE X-MEN #1 from 1975. The first issues of each run will be included in our next auction, with such choice items as IRON MAN & SUB-MARINER #1, IRON MAN #55, MARVEL SPOTLIGHT #28, and a gorgeous copy of SUB-MARINER #1. I’ve been busy as a bee finishing the “comic sets” pulled together from a Bronze to Modern collection acquired last month. These sets are groups of comic runs culled from the collection and sold as a packaged lot, which includes full runs of titles, from ALPHA FLIGHT to ASTONISHING X-MEN! (which, come to think of it, both sets mentioned have already sold!) But there’s hundreds of lots left, and some absolutely killer deals to be had! And lax as I’ve been blogging lately, I completely forgot to mentionthe mega Silver Age gem AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #9 in our current auction! This is one of the most beautiful copies AABC has ever owned, and it’s currently bidding at less than Overstreet! It’s a solid VF copy…just a beauty to behold! And from this same collection, another awe-inspiring run of X-MEN #94 and up, now being displayed in Mylar on the back wall! And in case you haven’t been in the store in the last couple of weeks, we just added over 6,000 comics in the “Discount Comic” room, and added new shelving on the sales floor for more than 7,500 Silver/Bronze books purchased in the last couple of years. We’re just loaded with good stock lately, so come in and check it out before the holidays.
