Mouth watering GOLDEN AGE!

Hello everyone! I know, I know. The Professor has been handling all the blog chores lately because Alan is lazy and Phil is such a damn good writer! Well, the “bald one” continues to purchase back issues so I just had to let you know of our latest acquisition. Golden Age (1940’s) comics are a rarity to find in Arizona, but we purchased some really choice books last week from that very era! Check this out: BATMAN #9, ALL-STAR COMICS #7, WORLD’S FINEST #6, STAR-SPANGLED COMICS #19….just four of the 12 gems we’re offering to you from our in-store auction, beginning on July 3rd. The comics cover the years 1941-1947, with the majority in VG to Fine, and even an ALL AMERICAN COMICS #86 (featuring GREEN LANTERN) in the solid 6.0 Fine range! As per norm, the comics originated east of the Mississippi, with this latest find tucked away in a Chicago basement for the last 60 years! Paper quality is above average, and we can thank the more mild summers of the mid-west for this. If these books were discovered in Phoenix after all these years, the books would be, well, non-existent. We want to offer our loyal AABC customers first dibs on these very collectible comics for the next two weeks, and layaway is available for the “pricey” ones in case you need it. And don’t forget, our annual JULY 4TH 25% off everything sale starts at 10 a.m this Friday! Come in and save a few bucks, and register to win a free BEACH CRUISER BIKE and two $25.00 GAS CARDS! Hey, whatever you can do to save a buck in this day and age! See ya’ soon! Alan G
