I’ll be bugging you guys for the next three weeks to get you all to come into the store for this year’s FREE COMIC BOOK DAY! It will be on Sat. May 5th, from 10 a.m to 6 p.m. Our theme this year is Family, Friends, and Community! Bring in as many people as you can, and everyone gets a Free Comic! For every comic given away, ALL ABOUT BOOKS AND COMICS will donate an additional comic to PHOENIX CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL for each person that attends! Also, you’ll receive 25% OFF ANY ITEM in the store if, when you come in, you donate a new packaged toy, valued at $10.00 or more, for our PHOENIX CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL Toy Drive! Besides Free Comics and Free Refreshments, we’ll also have COMIC BOOK STORY TIME for children between the ages of 3 and 7 at 11 AM.  Terra will be our storyteller reader. Our in-house Professor, Phil Mateer, will be hosting a Free Workshop on “How to Collect Comics” at 12 p.m. At 2 P.M., Phil will host a Workshop on “How to Grade Comics,” and for those of you who know Phil, his knowledge in these two areas is simply phenomenal. In addition, a FREE $5.00 Gift Certificate will be given to any customer who purchases $50.00 or more from the store on this day! Marsha, Eddie, and yours truly, the bald one, will be here to help you with anything you might need too. You can also come in and check out the high end Silver and Bronze age AMAZING SPIDERMAN’s we will have on display, in celebration of the new SPIDERMAN movie opening that weekend! Definitely fun to be had by all! We’re looking forward to it, and we hope you are too!
