For those of you who follow us on Facebook or are on our email mailing list, you already know the big news of this week about the 2nd Golden Age Collection we just picked up. It is about 1/2 the size of the last Golden Age group and is not quite as early, but this collection is really impressive! Alan is, of course, in heaven because he is busy grading and pricing late Golden Age Superman, Action, Adventure, Batman, Detective, Brave and Bold, World’s Finest and more. Unfortunately, since these are the books he loves the most it may take him a little longer than usual:) He did pick out 12 of these books for the next auction that begins tomorrow night. These include: Brave and Bold #1, Superman #100, several Detective Comics from 1955 and 1956, several Action Comics from 1953 and 1954, a SCARCE World’s Finest #72 from 1954 and Alan’s all time favorite comic cover, Superman #89, the very first Curt Swan Superman cover!
