Hey Everybody,
Once again Alan is busy pricing another two bronze and silver age collections that we just acquired over the weekend. Be sure to check out the new auction beginning tomorrow night for some of these gems. The current auction ending at 6 PM tomorrow is your last chance to get in on our 50% off deals for the year. Among the books in these two collections are many Bronze Age # 1’s. Alan has priced them and put out a selection of 40 or so on the South wall near the neon comics sign. They include Eternals #1, Forever People #1, Luke Cage #1, Iron Fist #1, Kamandi #1 and many others.
I also want to wholeheartedly thank those of you who have given such generous donations to our adopted family for the holidays. Your kindness has been overwhelming and you have to know that you have really made a difference in the lives of this family. Some of you have asked what is still needed so here is an updated list:
Clothing:
Dad, pants 38×36, XL shirt, shoe size 12 1/2.
Mom pants 16/18, shoe size 7 1/2
Jeremy, age 12 Medium shirt, pants size 13, size 8 adult shoe
Angelica, age 9, medium shirt, size 13 pants, size 5 woman shoes
Jeorge, age 3 size 4/5 kids clothes, size 10 kids shoe
Dishes for a family of 6. Pots and pans (gently used okay), and curling iron for Angelica. She also loves iCarly and would love anything related to that.
One of the sweetest people I know was gracious enough to give the family a new Xbox 360, so any used or new games to go with it would be great.
We are taking donations through Sunday, as the case worker is picking them up to deliver on Monday. Cash donations are being taken through Wednesday 12/16, so we have time to use the cash to purchase needed items.

Only 10 days until Christmas! We hope that in the busy holiday hustle and bustle you will take time to stop by and pick up some good reading so that you can relax and enjoy some quiet time too.
