My pretty little Marsha has been pinch hitting for me lately, so here I go to get back into the swing of things!
Eddie and I “broke down” the two back issue tables today to make room for…sigh…yet another back issue collection just acquired. This collection is 12 long white boxes of mostly modern back issues, bagged and boarded, and heavy with Marvel and DC titles. Here’s a quick alphabetical breakdown of some of the key titles: ALPHA FLIGHT #1-130, ARION #1-35, EXCALIBUR #1-125, GENERATION X #1-50, GREEN ARROW #1-79, mostly complete, a slew of KAMANDI #1-59, MASTER OF KUNG-FU #47-125, MICRONAUTS #1-59, MOON KNIGHT #1-38, NEW MUTANTS #1-100, mostly complete, and many, many others! There’s approximately 3,400 comic books, running the gamut of collectibility. We’ve decided to sell this collection differently than what we normally do, i.e., breaking the collection down into individual issues and sets and packets. You will find this new collection stacked “pyramid” style on the floor, boxes sealed, with a low price tag of only $595.00 for the entire TWELVE BOXES! That averages out to ONLY 18 CENTS PER COPY! As you are all aware of, we’ve been inundated with collections this summer, and we’re just running out of storage space!
