Hello Everyone! It’ll be a great week to shop in AABC with half of Phoenix heading off to the San Diego Comic Con! Eddie, Phil and I will be tending shop (along with Marsha on Wednesday) while Dan and Ashley head off for some comic fun in the sand and sun of SD! And, as usual, we’re packed to the gills with great stock in the store. If you’re not attending the con this year, and you’re just dying to spend your hard earned cash on some books, come in and talk to the Bald One. I’ll be glad to wheel and deal with you. It’s one of the really fun aspects of this business! (And as a side note, if you are going to the con, and you’re looking for back issues to get signed by your favorite writer or artist, well, you know my M.O. I’ll give ya’ a screamin’ deal!)
Two very BIG books are being released this week from Marvel. AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #600, and INCREDIBLE HULK #600, with some absolutely stunning variants for both books, will be hitting the stands this Wednesday. I didn’t order huge quantities, because of the…ouch…retail price of $4.99 for each, but I suspect they’ll be brisk sellers. And, as usual, come in early for best selection.
Currently, we’re overstocked on Marvel Select Action Figures, especially Wolverine, which includes the movie version and the classic version. So for ONE WEEK only, come in and purchase any Wolverine Marvel Select and we’ll give you 25% OFF!
