God it throws me off to get the new shipment a day late! It’s arriving Thursday this week you guys, and we’re finally getting restocked with comic supplies! Lots of comic size boxes and bags and boards too! What’s wrong with the distribution chain of this channel we don’t know, but the inconsistency of it is annoying. So come in and stock up while the gettins’ good!
The Professor spent the last two weeks sorting out Star Wars back issues in the backroom, and he’s come up with about 1,000 overstock issues! All the overstock is the current Dark Horse version. The current selection of cover price Teen Titans will be broken down tomorrow, and Star Wars will take its place, all to be sold at cover price! I’ll be making consecutive sets to be sold as packets too, so keep your eyes peeled for real deals.
I’m in my Silver Age geeked out phase this week, for an old customer is bringing in his AMAZING SPIDERMAN #1 to sell…an item he purchased from me more than 20 years ago! If we acquire this fine gem, it’ll probably be part of our next auction, unless someone speaks up and demands it before then! The book is somewhere in the VG range of condition. Please keep in mind that the store has currently in stock an X-MEN #1 and AVENGERS #1, both at very affordable prices!
