Getting off My Duff # 32
Hey Gang! Lots to tell you this week, so bear with me while I try to be succinct! We received a really beautiful selection of Silver to Modern age CGC books in this last Saturday, and the books are on display in a Central side glass display case, waiting for collectors of high end books to come in and drool! (and hopefully purchase!) Of keynote to mention, there’s a copy of THE ATOM #1 from the Silver Age, along with TWO copies of JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA #2 from 1960, and TWO copies of SHOWCASE #60, with the first Silver … Continue reading

Phil's Reviews — Stuff I Bought #136
Flash: Rebirth #4 (of 6) — Writer: Geoff Johns; Art: Ethan Van Sciver Green Lantern #45 — Writer: Geoff Johns; Pencils: Doug Mahnke; Inks: Christian Alamy, Doug Mahnke and Tom Nguyen Two by Johns this week, both characters that he has a history with (almost five years now with GL, and better than ten with the Flashes). Loud, soulless and grating, with characters running everywhere and no one to root for; everyone’s either mean, stupid, … Continue reading
