Giving Thanks!

As we look at this Thanksgiving holiday, we realize we have so much to be grateful for. We are so thankful for our loyal friends and customers that have made it possible for us to be in business 26 years (as of 12/1/07). We are often reminded by many, how lucky we are that our “job” is owning a comic book store. This couldn’t be truer than these last couple of weeks when I got to “hold” (ie. grade & price) A VF Amazing Spider-man #9 (auction ending tomorrow night!),2 Incredible Hulk # 181’s, 2 Uncanny X-men #94’s, Iron Man #1, Sub-Mariner #1, Captain America #100 (coming up in the new auction beginning tomorrow night) to name a few and of course the plethora of high grade DC’s that we have had the last couple of months. You’ll notice that my love of silver and bronze age books has now spilled over into our “Recommended Reading” section of the store. Sure, there’s lots of good new stuff to read, but this old guy loves the old stuff! Give me the smell of Silver Age over Thanksgiving Turkey any day! Enjoy your holiday and happy reading!
